Your selected media file stays on your device

Clip to Text processes the audio or video file you choose in your own browser. The file is not uploaded to this website or to a transcription API by this tool.

On first use, your browser downloads client-side speech-model files and may keep those model files in its browser cache. The page itself does not receive the media file you select.

Clip to Text may display third-party advertising in the future. If advertising is added, the relevant provider may process information such as cookies or IP address under its own privacy policy. This page will be updated before such advertising is enabled.

If you email the public contact address, the message is handled by the email service used to forward that address. Please do not include sensitive information you do not want to send by email.
